3 Traits of a Great VA

We all know that a good Virtual Assistant is organized, punctual, and can predict the needs of their clients, but what are some differences between a good VA and a great VA?

Great VAs are invaluable and can take a client’s business from “meh” to “WOWZA!”

Here are 3 traits that you can adopt to be confident in providing amazing service and support.

Hit Play:

Great VA’s are:

Honest

Working in the back office of a business means VAs can see all the nitty-gritty of their client’s work. A great VA is

    • Honest with their client
    • Gives valuable feedback
    • Challenges their clients to grow

Suggest ideas to your client with compassionate honestly.

Calm

VAs are like the flight attendants of a business.

When the “plane” spins out of control, the VAs should stay calm and help steady the chaos.

If your client gets disorganized or stressed try to not get caught up in it, too.

Instead, be a steady, calming beacon to re-centre your client.

Leaders

Remember as a VA you are also a business owner! Run your VA biz as your client should run theirs.

    • Keep strong boundaries
    • Stay organized
    • Maintain steadfast communication and SOPs

Keep your biz organized and you’ll be able to help your clients with theirs.
