…. And then I had to tell my mentor. #uhoh
I had to somehow explain to her that this vacation was SO important that I needed to pause building my virtual assistant business.
I was worried my laptop would get stolen, I was worried it wouldn’t be able to fully relax, I was worried this may be the last time I get a month to travel….
So, I mustered up the courage to break it to my mentor that I would have to pause the VA program and building my biz… it was a tough decision.
Her response was, “But Rebecca, isn’t this the exact lifestyle that you’re trying to build? The ability to travel with your laptop?”
Holy F**K!!!!
She was totally right!
All my “reasons” were just excuses holding back my potential! They were self-limiting beliefs that I can’t have my cake and eat it too. It was a lack of confidence that I could find time to balance.
My whole life I had been programmed to think that you work and then you vacation — not both… and even in the MIDST OF A VA PROGRAM in which I was LITERALLY BUILDING THE ABILITY TO DO THIS….
I still haven’t come to that realization myself.
